12 Sanderson Road (Rt. 5), Smithfield
The 120-acres of Powder Mill Ledges are home to many species of animals including white tail deer, coyote, grey fox, and wild turkey as well as a pond, a brook, rock walls, and beautiful trees. We will follow the orange and blue trails for a 2-mile hike, but there are other trails that you can follow to either shorten or extend your outing.
We’ll meet in front of the headquarters at 11:00am and begin our hike promptly at 11:15am. Be sure to dress appropriately and bring plenty of snacks and water. Click here for a list of guidelines for hiking with kids.
