10:00am

Plain Road, West Greenwich, 401-331-7110

Along with Arcadia and Wickaboxet Management Areas, and URI’s Alton Jones campus, Tillinghast helps connect 40,000 acres of protected forest spanning the RI-CT border and, at 2000 acres, is The Nature Conservancy’s largest land holding in RI.

This hike is 2.2 miles long and moderately challenging for children. There is also ample opportunity to extend your hike. Dogs are welcome as long as they are leashed and you clean up after them.

We will meet in the parking lot at 10:00am and start our hike promptly at 10:15am. Be sure to bring sunblock and bug spray, as well as plenty of snacks and water. Click here for a list of guidelines for hiking with kids.
