Warwick City Park
Asylum Road, Warwick

With its paved path, ballfields, and intersections with the road, you might not think this is properly characterized as a hike. But given the number of features, it’s definitely worth checking out.

The stroller-friendly path winds around the small peninsula to allow for beautiful views of Buttonwoods Cove and Greenwich Bay. There are plenty of benches to take a break and a playground at just about the mid-point.

Length: 2.75 miles
Difficulty: moderate for kids
Map: none available, but this is an easy to follow loop
Dogs: are welcome, so long as they are leashed and you clean up after them
Accessible by Public Transportation: within 0.6 mile
You might want to bring: plenty of snacks & water for the rests you’ll take at the benches
Note: the openness of the trail at some points makes it a bit unbearable in the summer; visit in the spring and fall
