Canonchet Farm
Anne Hoxsie Lane, Narragansett

Narragansett’s beaches are known throughout and beyond Rhode Island, but there are lots of other wonderful natural places to explore. For example, within the 174 acres of Canonchet Farm, there are both salt- and fresh-water marshes, an old quarry, Pettaquamscutt Cove, as well as a rich cultural and natural history featured in the South County Museum. In addition, the trail system is well maintained, and the Friends of Canonchet Farm are happy to answer questions and help you out. Parking is available on Anne Hoxsie Lane and at the Narragansett Town Beach lots; parking fees apply from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
