Diamond Hill Park
4097 Diamond Hill Road (Route 114), Cumberland
Once a former ski slope, Diamond Hill offers scenic views and a fairly gradual climb for kids of all ages to enjoy. There are various places to turn around, each affording you a beautiful vista of the valley and a feeling of having accomplished a summit, even if only a very small one! In the fall, the views are particularly spectacular. In the late spring you can find beautiful pink lady’s slipper, a large orchid, dotting the hillside. The park is also a great place to picnic, and the little ones will love checking out the small pond near the old band shell.
Length: 1.5 miles
