Touisset Marsh Wildlife Refuge
99 Touisset Road, Warren
At just 66 acres, Audubon’s Touisset Marsh is one of the smaller wildlife refuges in the state. But the easy walk through salt marshes, hardwood forests, and meadows, and the stunning views of the Kickemuit River really make it worth the trip. Even though it’s a short walk, you really will feel like you are getting away from it all.
Length: 1.1 miles
Difficulty: easy for children
Dogs: to protect the fragile ecology of the refuge, please leave your dogs at home
