Upper Roaring Brook
Tefft Hill Trail and Arcadia Road, Hopkinton

The fifth and final Arcadia Management Area hike on this website, Upper Roaring Brook has a long wooden walkway great for both strollers and wheelchairs. Don’t let the fact that it’s only 0.5 mile roundtrip throw you—you’ll still feel like you’re in the forest, and there are beautiful views. Plus, you have the option of extending your adventure along the other trails.

Length: 0.5 mile; longer if you extend along the wooded trails
Difficulty: easy for kids
Dogs: are welcome, so long as they are leashed and you clean up after them
Stroller- and Wheelchair-accessible: yes!
Note: fluorescent orange requirements apply for all users during the hunting season (learn more)
